With 19 years in the beauty industry and considering her background, it’s not surprising that Kya Bilal's incredible career as an independent hairdresser, retired salon owner, and celebrity stylist has led her to create, produce, and head some of Hollywood's most iconic looks for the past 11 years.
Born in the sunshine state and raised with music and entertainment at the center of her heart, Kya understands what each project needs and requires clients to get into character and feel their best. Being born and raised in Los Angeles, Kya understands the culture and learned at an early age to appreciate the beauty in everyone. She takes pride in where she comes from and loves to create looks that showcase originality and individuality, creating authenticity through beauty. Her skill sets are vast and extend beyond the average stylist. Some of her skill sets include hair cutting and styling, braiding, wig dressing and application, color services, and much more.
Today, Kya divides her time between working with clients and serving as hair department head throughout the entertainment industry. Anyone who works with Kya is never left unsatisfied, she thrives because she creates a tailored experience and routine for each individual. Kya understands that for someone to do their best, they must feel their best, and often that starts with her.
